Killer work? It better be if you plan on scoring some ADDYs. When we were tasked to come up with the creative for the 2018 Reno ADDY Awards, we knew we wanted to celebrate all those who “kill it” every day. To do this, we created a campaign that payed homage to ‘80s horror movie poster art, featuring local advertising creatives as the “killers.” The campaign played out through movie style posters we designed for the event, drink tickets, social posts and emails. The creative killed.
It was the first time the Reno ADDYS sold out and many agencies that hadn’t submitted in years, submitted entries, leading to more money for the AAF Scholarship Fund.
